A 1970s first pressing and a modern reissue can share a title, a tracklist, and almost nothing else. Every analysis is scored at the level of the specific pressing variant — because that's the level the market actually trades at, and it's where the money is made or lost.
Behind every verdict, the engine is reading which way the pressure points: whether demand for a record is building or fading, whether supply is thin or flooded, and whether a listed price reflects the market or one seller's wishful thinking. A record priced at yesterday's market can be a bargain or a trap — the direction is what tells you which.
Markets don't always give you enough to go on, and when they don't, we say so. You'll sometimes get a shorter answer than you wanted — we'd rather hand you a cautious verdict than dress thin data up as conviction. A confident answer that turns out to be wrong is the most expensive thing a tool like this can produce, and everything in the engine is built to avoid it.

Demand and interest signals are drawn from multiple additional external sources. Every number in an analysis is computed by PressingInsights' own scoring engine. AI writes the explanation around those numbers — it describes them, it never invents them. If the engine didn't compute it, the write-up can't say it.
